Gurvinder Virk, FNP-BC, tailors her care personally to meet each individual patient’s needs

A Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Gurvinder Virk has special interest in Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Hematology-Oncology, and Family Medicine, with a particularly strong background in Acute Care, Hematology-Oncology. She is also a volunteer and member of Wappingers Intercultural Women’s Association, Mid-Hudson Sikh Cultural Society, Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

“The medical field was something that fascinated me from childhood, and I wanted to be a healthcare provider to serve the community I live in.” When she isn’t practicing, Gurvinder Virk spends time with her family (plus one dog) in Dutchess County. She is respectful of all backgrounds and faiths, and speaks Hindi, Punjabi, and English.
